Phantoms bio/ref

Hey, I sorta felt like making a bio/ref sheet for my OC koopa sub-species, phantoms. Here we go.

Phantoms are ghost-like beings that dwell in the Shadow Realm. Males usually have a slender/serpentine body while females have legs and are a bit stockier than males, but still have the long tail. Most phantoms were first created by their god, Deity, to help him run the Shadow Realm and its pit, which is better known as Hell. Phantoms then started to reproduce by themselves through intercourse and have continued to multiply over the course of billions, nearly trillions of years. Phantoms take very, very long to age like humans or other living species, every 100 years for us is only 1 for them, however, according to the law of Deity, if a phantom child is being raised by parent(s) that are not phantoms themselves, the child will age the same timespan the parents do. For example; Sorrow Phantom was 800 years old when Kool and Spaz adopted her, and is currently 802, which is 10 in common years. Phantoms also do not have shells like a koopa, they may be considered a subspecies of koopas, but phantoms have never been seen with a shell.

Genetics: Since phantoms started to reproduce themselves, genetically physical differences appeared amongst them such as different types of eyes, hair, and other obvious ones. There are few types of eyes; there is the “mortal” eye as it is referred to looks like a regular eye that you would see on a koopa. The next is common amongst phantoms, which would be the reaper’s eye; it is known to look like a simple dot of light where the eye should be. None are entirely sure if it is an actual eye, or concentrated magic on an eyeless phantom to give them sight because the light diminishes when the phantom is asleep or dead. Finally, there is the irregular or “demonic” eye, by its name; this eye has no proper shape yet they look very evil on a phantom which is why they’re morely known as demonic eyes. There is also the lower half of the phantom’s body that depends on genetics, phantoms are known for having a serpentine and long body, but depending on the genetics, a male could be born with legs, and a female be born with the serpentine body. In between a male serpentine phantom and a female phantom with legs, the serpentine trait is dominant whilst the legs are recessive, but males could still carry the trait for legs. None the less, the tail will still be there when a phantom is born, there has never been a case where a phantom is tailless. There are also traits for where if the bones of the have a black hue or are white, the black hue is dominant in phantom reapers, but only when it comes to the claws and the larger fangs.

I only drew phantom reapers in here, so I won’t describe the other categories of phantoms.

Phantom Reapers: Phantom reapers are the most notorious and infamous of all phantoms, they are mostly known for being Deity’s right hand servants and when a mortal dies, the phantom reaper goes to the mortal’s body and guides the spirit to the Shadow Realm, or the Guardian Realm, depending if their sins are forgiven or not. Most phantom reapers have stopped obeying Deity due to one known as Jacko, making ever phantom reaper realize their true potential and how fearful they are to mortals. All phantom reapers abuse their power to strike fear into everything, and to cause havoc. Very few phantom reapers are still loyal to Deity’s rule, so few that Deity creates new phantom reapers just so he can have phantom reapers to carry out his duties, but even a quarter ends up betraying him anyways. Phantom reapers are also known to have multiple forms, depending on how much phantom energy they possess in them. There’s the first form, which is what they always look like, the second, which is just a bigger and tougher version of them, and then there’s their last form. Their last form can just make them look even bigger, or turn them into turn them a horrific looking beast, they use these separate forms for combat only. All phantom reapers also are named after something evil or dark, or an emotion they experience and give the most. Fear for example, he strikes terror into every being’s heart and is the most chaotic amongst phantom reapers, which is why he is named Fear. Also Sorrow for example, she experienced much sadness and hurt when she was younger, so she was named Sorrow.
